We were excited to discover that star anise smells just like Norwegian licorice candy🍬We also blended spices and adjusted the amounts to brew chai tea. It was a day of learning the names and smells of more than ten different spices.
In preparation for Father’s Day in Japan, we also made “message jars” filled with lots of “thank you”.👨

スターアニスがノルウェーのリクリスキャンディーのような香りがするという大発見に感動したり、スパイスを調合して、分量も感覚で調整しながら本格的なチャイティーを淹れてみたり。10種類以上のスパイスの日本名や香りを実際に体験しながら学んだ一日でした。
そして、6月の日本の父の日に向けて、「ありがとう」の気持ちをたくさん詰め込んだメッセージジャーも作りました👨
